How does the new Astronomia Sky improve over its predecessors, the Astronomia Tourbillon Baguette Watch (2015) and Astronomia Tourbillon (2014)?
Astronomia Sky is based on Astronomia's gravitational three-axis tourbillon movement, but its function and interpretation are quite different. In fact, it is a time display of a kind never seen before: a sidereal display; in other words, the watch shows the stars above your head at that moment through an oval sky indicator that rotates above a blue titanium sky dome . There are also 24-hour day and night indications and second hand indications represented by the earth on the top of the movement. This masterpiece offers two distinct units of time: sidereal time and legal time (or solar time).
